Artist Statement & Bio

I’ve always found the intricacies of life fascinating; so much is a contradiction: known and unknown, seen and unseen. Using light&shadow, line, color and movement, I'm on a mission to capture these nuances- the in-between moments, and the unseen, felt pieces of our reality. 

 

Aly Economou is a freelance artist and graphic designer born and raised near Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in graphic design and with minors in Spanish and business. She is currently living in Madrid, Spain, pursing her masters- un Máster de Formación Permanente en Artes y Profesiones Artísticas UC3M-CBA. 

 

In her free time, she enjoys working out, traveling and spending time outside.
